"The quickest way to rectify that mistake (choosing the wrong person) is by learning from that, moving on, and choosing much more wisely in the future." -He's Just Not That into You Motion Picture

When I was single and looking for love I watched an episode of Sex and the City, "He's Just Not That Into You," which lead me to watch the movie, "He's Just Not That Into You." Friends, the movie was written or produced by the writers of Sex and the City obviously -Lol. There's also a book by them which is equally or even better than the movie. When I love a movie I read the book after, I don't want the book to ruin the movie that's why. I've learned from experience that I personally don't like reading the book first and then watching the movie but to each their own. Any who, back to the point of this blog. Have you seen the movie or read the book and what did you think about it?

"If a guy wants to see you, he will see you." True story. Why do we over think things? I'm married now, of course but I just want to throw some advice out there. Also I'm currently watching the movie and thought I could share some insight from my point of view. If you haven't read the book but you've seen the movie, it is not like most books where it's technically the movie just written in book form. Do y'all remember those teen magazines that had a picture of one of your favorite pop star or group *cough *cough *Nsync, *Backstreet Boys, *98 degrees, *Britney Spears etc... lol In the magazine there was always a section with Q and A for teens who are interested in dating, most embarrassing moments in front of your crush etc... you guys remember? -Hahaha That is what the book, "He's Just Not That Into You," is like. It's a bunch of women who ask questions and tell back stories of their relationships/dating life. It's been years since I read the book so I don't know ver badem what was asked but I'll give an example.

There was a young lady who asked for advice, whether she should leave her lover

or stay and wait. She wrote, she had been in a relationship with some guy for

months or years and he promised to leave his wife but still hasn't. The "He's Just

Not That Into You," writers responded with, "He's Just Not That Into You," if he

wanted to leave his wife, HE WOULD!

BOOM!!!!!! Does that have anyones attention yet? I'm hoping ladies wake-up to this realization that is so simple and affective. I cannot for the life of me fathom how women started over-thinking about a mans thoughts. After reading the book, I realized how easy it was to tell if someone was actually interested in me. If he wasn't into me, it was easy to move on. I even kind of wished I knew this golden information way earlier in my life -Lol. In the end it all worked out, I found my husband, I didn't overthink and now we have three beautiful children. To my lady friends who are still soul searching, searching for the one, or if you want to know if your current partner is "into you," read the book, watch the movie and pay attention to the men you are dating but DO NOT overthink it.

Men are simple to understand Ladies. If you haven't already I recommend the book more than the movie. Check your local library if you just want to borrow the book rather than purchase. Ok, that is the knowledge I wanted to share with you all tonight. Hope it helps.
